1.Induction Furnace Steelmaking

The medium frequency induction furnace is a power supply device that converts power frequency 50HZ alternating current into intermediate frequency (300HZ and above to 1000HZ), converts three-phase power frequency alternating current into direct current after rectification, and then converts direct current into adjustable intermediate frequency current, which is supplied by capacitors. The intermediate frequency alternating current flowing in the induction coil generates high-density magnetic lines of force in the induction coil, and cuts the metal material contained in the induction coil, generating a large eddy current in the metal material. Intermediate frequency furnaces are widely used in the smelting of non-ferrous and ferrous metals. Compared with other casting equipment, the medium frequency induction furnace has the advantages of high thermal efficiency, short smelting time, less burning loss of alloy elements, wide smelting material, less environmental pollution, and can accurately control the temperature and composition of molten metal.

(7) The long arc yoke shields the magnetic flux leakage and reduces the external magnetic resistance, and has the magnetic flux leakage at both ends of the shielded coil. The cross section of the yoke is the inner side of the arc and the outer wall is seamlessly close to increase the effective magnetic permeability area and make the lower ring Got better support. The unique positive and negative rotation coil greatly improves the efficiency of the system.


2.EAF Steelmaking

Electric furnace is used for smelting ores and metals at high temperatures produced by an electrode arc. When the gas discharge forms an arc, the energy is very concentrated, and the temperature of the arc zone is above 3000 °C. For metal smelting, the electric arc furnace is more flexible than other steelmaking furnaces, and can effectively remove impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus. The furnace temperature is easy to control, and the equipment occupies a small area. Electric arc furnaces can be divided into three-phase electric arc furnaces, consumable electric arc furnaces, single-phase electric arc furnaces and resistance electric arc furnaces according to the arc form. The furnace body of the electric arc steelmaking furnace is composed of furnace cover, furnace door, tapping groove and furnace body, and the furnace bottom and furnace wall are built with basic refractory materials or acid refractory materials. Electric arc steelmaking furnaces are divided into ordinary power electric arc furnaces, high power electric arc furnaces and ultra-high power electric arc furnaces according to the capacity of transformers per ton of furnace capacity. Electric arc furnace steelmaking is to input electrical energy into the electric arc steelmaking furnace through graphite electrodes, and use the arc generated between the electrode end and the charge as a heat source to make steel. The electric arc furnace uses electric energy as the heat source, and the atmosphere in the furnace can be adjusted, which is extremely beneficial to the smelting of steel grades containing more easily oxidizable elements. Shortly after the invention of electric arc furnace steelmaking, it was used to smelt alloy steel and has been greatly developed.

With the improvement of electric arc furnace equipment and the improvement of smelting technology, the development of electric power industry, the cost of electric arc furnace steelmaking continues to decline. Now electric arc furnace steelmaking is not only used to produce alloy steel, but also used to produce ordinary carbon steel in large quantities. The proportion of output in the total steel output of major industrial countries has been rising.

Compared with electric arc furnaces, intermediate frequency furnace steelmaking costs are lower, and it is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises, but the steel produced by him has high carbon content. If the steel requirements are not high, intermediate frequency furnace steel can be selected. It is more than 3 tons, so the electric arc furnace is only used by enterprises with a certain scale. The steel produced by it is relatively pure and can produce high-standard steel.

Electric arc furnaces use power frequency electricity, while intermediate frequency electric furnaces use intermediate frequency electricity.

Compared with the electric arc furnace, the intermediate frequency electric furnace has high thermal efficiency, so as to achieve high production efficiency, flexible operation and low energy consumption
